Terms of Service

These Terms govern Shokoy and Shokoy VIP Members, operated by William De Beers. Please read them carefully, including the arbitration and class-action waiver in section 22.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Shokoy (operated by William De Beers) ("Shokoy", "we", "us"). By creating a membership, checking the agreement box at checkout, or using the Shokoy website, the VIP Members tool, or Steve (together, the "Service"), you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. You may use the Service only where using it, and participating in prediction or event-contract markets, is lawful for you. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws and the market operator's rules that apply to you.
3. The Service
Shokoy VIP Members is an information tool. It shows forecasts, probabilities, market prices, edges and signal tiers for selected weather event contracts. It is not a broker, exchange, adviser or trading bot. Shokoy never places, routes or manages trades for you. Features, cities, markets and data sources may change over time.
4. Single-user license
Your membership grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the Service for your own individual use while your subscription is active. One membership is for one person. Sessions are limited to one active session and a small number of trusted devices.
5. No sharing, reselling or redistribution
You may not share your login, session or sign-in links; let anyone else use your membership; resell, sublicense or rent access; or copy, publish, broadcast, screenshot for distribution, scrape, automate or otherwise redistribute any signals, probabilities, edges, tiers, screenshots or other content from the member area, whether free or for payment, including in chats, groups, social media, Discord, Telegram or signal services.
6. Enforcement
We monitor sessions, devices and network signals to protect the Service. If we reasonably believe a membership has been shared, resold or redistributed, or these Terms have been broken, we may pause access pending verification, suspend or terminate the membership without refund, block devices or accounts, and pursue any other remedy available at law, including recovery of losses and fees.
7. Acceptable use
You will not: reverse engineer or attempt to derive Shokoy's models, parameters or methods; probe, overload or bypass security, rate limits or access controls; use bots, crawlers or automated tools against the Service; misrepresent your identity; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; or interfere with other members.
8. Not financial or investment advice
Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, trading, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any contract. Suggested sides, edges and tiers are model outputs for information only. You should consult your own qualified advisers before making financial decisions.
9. You are solely responsible for your trades
Every decision to trade, and every trade you place, is yours alone. You are solely responsible for your orders, positions, gains, losses, fees and taxes, and for complying with the rules of any market you use.
10. Prediction market risk
Trading event contracts involves substantial risk, including the loss of the entire amount you put at risk. Markets can be illiquid, prices can move quickly, quotes can be stale, and outcomes can settle in unexpected ways, including through data revisions by the official settlement source. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
11. No guarantees
Forecasts are uncertain. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability of any data, forecast, probability, price or edge, and we make no promise or representation of profit or of any particular result. Past or simulated behavior does not indicate future results.
12. Data provided as-is
Data comes from third-party and public sources and from our own models. It may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable, and market quotes may differ from what you see on the exchange. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
13. No affiliation with Kalshi
Shokoy is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or partnered with Kalshi or any exchange, data provider or weather agency. Market names and data are referenced for identification only and belong to their owners.
14. Subscription, billing and renewal
VIP Members is a single plan billed at $49.99 per month in U.S. dollars, plus any applicable taxes, through our payment processor, Stripe. There is no free trial. Your subscription renews automatically every month at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
15. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel anytime from the member portal (Manage membership). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and access continues until then. Payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, unused time, or memberships suspended or terminated for breach of these Terms, except where required by law.
16. Changes to price and features
We may change the price, features, cities, markets or content of the Service. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any price change, which will apply from your next billing period after the notice. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
17. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, models, methods, signals, designs, text, graphics, the Shokoy name, marks and logos, is owned by Shokoy and William De Beers and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you.
18. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shokoy, William De Beers and their affiliates, contractors and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid us for the Service in the one (1) month before the event giving rise to the claim.
19. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Shokoy, William De Beers and their affiliates, contractors and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Service, your trades, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
20. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access at any time if you breach these Terms or if we must do so to protect the Service, other members or ourselves, or to comply with law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
21. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the arbitration section below, the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction.
22. Arbitration and class-action waiver
Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Maricopa County, Arizona, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. YOU AND SHOKOY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify members in advance. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
